President's Message
The romantic imagery associated with firefighting and emergency rescue can entice the young and young at heart, but hard work and dedication are required. The volunteers who have served our community for the past 114 years and continue to serve today provide a crucial public service. Our diverse membership of firefighters, EMT-B, and Paramedics are united by the desire to help others and are ready to answer the call to action without hesitation and when needed most.
The Albertson Hook and Ladder, Engine and Hose Company #1 is committed to excellence and professional accountability through practical training and technology and adapting to the changing needs of our community. Focusing on weekly training and educational opportunities allows us to provide the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in a professional and caring manner. Our Company is 100% manned by volunteers who graciously sacrifice their time to answer the call, and we would not be able to continue in this manner without the support and donations from the community. Your contributions help support the additional costs required by the Fire Company, which are not covered by your tax dollars.
